Want to do something nice today for needed people around the globe?
Great. Open your Windows Live Messenger and initiate as many converstations beginning with the word “I’m”. Sound like a joke? not really…
Microsoft announced that every time that Windows Live Messenger users will type the word “I’m” when starting one of their conversations, they’ll donate a small percentage of the revenue generated by Messenger usage to charity organizations likeUnicef, and the National AIDS Fund.
But how it really works:
1.Open your Windows Live Messenger and right click on your name.
2. Click on Options
3. Grab your selected emoticon cause (from below) and paste it after your name. For example, to donate to the American Red Cross paste ‘*red+u’.
4. Click on Apply
From now on every new conversation you’ll start with the word “I’m” will make some difference on someones life.
- American Red Cross — ready to help, code = *red+u
- Boys & Girls Clubs of America — providing a positive place for kids, code = *bgca
- National AIDS Fund — fighting AIDS, code = *naf
- National MS Society — joining the MS movement, code = *mssoc
- ninemillion.org — helping 9 million refugee kids, code = *9mil
- Sierra Club — exploring and protecting the planet, code = *sierra

- Susan G. Komen for the Cure — finding the cure, code = *komen
