Are you having trouble finding out what’s the time in Bangalore, San Francisco, Amsterdam or any other place where you have friends or business associates? If so, i recommend that you try the Microsoft Time Zone Utility.
This nice utility recently released by Microsoft, lets you see what’s the time at 5 different locations around the globe.
How to Install?
1. Go to the Microsoft Time Zone Download Page.
2. Download the utility (requires Windows OS Validation).
3. Run the installer. After it finishes i recommend to reboot. Note that in XP SP2, the utility doesn’t automatically run on startup.
4.From Start>>Programs Click on Microsoft Time Zone. The utility should appear in your system Tray.
5. Right click on the system tray icon that was just created and from the Options menu select the locations you would like to have displayed.
6. In case you would like to display the time in your selected locations, jus right click on the icon and click on “Show My Locations”
In general the utility is stable. Make sure you don’t select “Set Time Zone” from your icon menu, as it will change your PC time settings.
