Sometimes, in order to determine whether your PC meets software requirements of a new application you would like to install, you need to know what’s the Windows version and service package levels you are running.
There are two quick ways to do that:
1. Right Click on My Computer || Go to the ‘General’ tab (opens by default).
2. Click on Start || Run || In the ‘Open’ checkbox type Winver .
Your Windows Version, Service Package and build number will be displayed:
