The comparison to the famous Diego Maradona’s goal from 1986 is inevitable. In my opinion, these two are the best goals ever scored. I would say that Messi showed a higher skill , but Maradona’s goal, scored in the Mexico World Cup, was far more decisive as it contributed to Argentina’s winning of the World Cup.
