In general, the Ebay account deletion process is fairly straightforward.
Here’s some important information you should be aware of get started:
- If you’ve listed or bid on an item, Ebay will wait 180 days before closing your account, in order to make sure all transactions you are involved with are completed. During that period, you’ll be able to access your account information but not make any transactions.
- Ebay will keep your personal information for legal purposes, even after you deleted your account.
Here’s how you delete the Ebay account:
- Navigate to the account closing request
- Login with your Ebay login and password. In case you are unsure about your password, click the Forget link to have your password sent to your email address.
- Fill in the required details and submit the form
