A quick way to protect your Privacy in Windows Vista

By default, Windows Vista displays a list of the recently used documents and programs in the Start Menu. In case you would like to protect your privacy, you can disable this functionality, and here is how:
- Right Click the taskbar and clik Properties
- Navigate to the Start Menu tab
- Uncheck the following checkboxes:
- Store and display a list of recently open files
- Store and display a list of recently opened programs
