If you share your computer with a friend or family member and you both use Yahoo Messenger, you might want to be able to open two concurrent Yahoo Messenger sessions on the same PC (each of the sessions will be logged in with a different Yahoo Messenger user name). This is not possible by default, but can be achieved using a quick registry edit i found at WackyB.
Remember! If you use the registry editor incorrectly, you might cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Use the registry editor at your own risk.
Here’s how you implement the tweak (tested in Vista and Windows XP and Yahoo Messenger V8):
Now, you’ll be able to run two concurrent sessions of Yahoo Messenger.

add the following entry to windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yahoo\pager\Test
“Plural”=dword:00000001
tested in windows XP and windows Vista with yahoo messenger v8.
does the ym tweak work for other software that can only run 1 session? (e.g. DIALux) . if it can, can you pls show me how.
