Enhance your Java Knowledge at the Java Forums

When I have a doubt or would like to make some in-depth research on a topic, I normally point my browser to a forum. The problem with many forums is their lack of focus, which potentially brings more traffic, but tends to attract less knowledgeable subject experts. That’s exactly why I like Java Forums, the website I will be reviewing today.

Java programming is relatively tough to master, as (1) it’s capable to run on multiple operating systems and (2) it spans a plethora of related technologies (J2EE, J2SE, Servlets, Beans etc’). That’s exactly why you need a good forum with people capable to help you out when you encounter those weird undocumented bugs that hurt your productivity or you just want to enrich your knowledge before starting your next project.

Although the Java forums is a relatively new gig, its operators seem to understand the importance of staying focused on one main topic. All forum sections exclusively target Java and its related technologies. I especially liked the busy New to Java forum, in which new programmers can have their questions answered by seasoned professionals, and the  Java Enterprise Edition section that features more advanced issues. Registration is free and mandatory for posting in the forums.
