The Internet periodic table – another ultra “geekness” record just broken

Well, i think that this one breaks the ultra geek world record. Someone actually took the time and built a table that mimics the periodic table of chemical elements, but instead of displaying gases and chemical materials, it contains information on the main Web 2.0 sites.

All the big players, including  Google,Skype, eBay, Technorati, YouTube and many others are featured in the Web 2.0 periodic table.

In a similar fashion to the original period table, the websites placement in the table is not random, but depending on the web site category. The leftmost column displays the search engines , the second from the left displays Internet tools and so forth.

Granted, the idea is a nice link bait, however i am still amazed by what people with some extra time can make :) .
