Hi there
whenever I playback avi files in Media Player I get a full description of the audio detail printed in green at the top left of the screen. I've 'googled' and discovered it may be due to a plugin for screen/OSD?? programmes, or linked to a codec I may be using.
How do I find the codecs to switch this (OSD?) function off ?
Apparently someone had the same problem using Cole2K codecs - but I don't have that installed
Any help would be really apreciated

I've encountered such situations many a time when a file doesn't play due to lack of codecs. Thanks for this post, I'll try this codec installer.
