Has anyone seen the FIFA 2008 Demo ? ;)

Not long ago, i read over at Dennis’ blog that FIFA 2008 Demo for PC and XBOX 360 was planned to be made available on August 27th. Unfortunately, it looks like  the PC demo is 10 days away.

Today while searching for the much anticipated demo,  i stumbled upon a thread over at EA FIFA 08 official spanish forums (i enclosed the link – for my spanish speaking readers) . An EA Site Admin has made it clear that the PC demo for FIFA 2008 won’t be released before its XBOX and PS3 counterparts, which are scheduled for September 6th. The EA admin suggested that the  unofficial reason for that is apparently Sony’s requirement to hold the PC demo until the PS3 demo release. (Note: Sony is a heavy FIFA sponsor and PS owner).

Although this lack of clarity about FIFA 2008 demo will contribute to the hype around the video game, I was wondering how come millions of gamers who are keen to try FIFA 2008 can’t get a clear message as far as the demo scheduled is concerned.

In the mean time, all we can do is wait…
