Question:
I have a MySpace profile and i want to modify its background to a custom image. I heard that i can use some MySpace codes for doing that, but i have no experience with Web programming. Can you suggest another way to accomplish that?
Answer:
As mentioned previous posts, you can use some MySpace CSS code in order to set an image as a background of your MySpace profile. If you are using a Mozilla Firefox browser, you won’t have another choice. However if you use Internet Explorer, you will be able to add a background picture to your profile using the Profile Editor, and here’s how you can do it.
- First, upload the image you’ll like to embed to your favorite image Hosting service (more on this at steps 1-3 here).
- Now access the Profile Editor. You can access the Profile Editor tool by navigating to your MySpace profile, pointing your browser to MySpace.com, login and click on the Edit Profile link.
- Click Profile Editor (from the upper right hand side).
- Click the Customize tab.
- Click Background and then Background Image.
- Check the Use Image checkbox.
- Paste your picture URL in the box below the Use Image checkbox.
- Click Save.
