Simple procedure for putting a picture as a caption of other picture.
Question:
I have created an album in my MySpace profile and populated it with some cute photos. Now I would like to use an image (instead of some text) as a caption of the album’s pictures. Is it possible? if so, how?
Answer:
Yes it’s possible. I suggest you follow this procedure:
- Upload the picture you would like to use as a caption to an Image Hosting Service such as Photobucket or FlickR (see steps 1-3 in the following how-to). Don’t forget to grab the URL of that picture, as provided by your Image Hosting Service.
- Login to MySpace.com.
- Navigate to your MySpace profile and click Add/Edit Photos.
- Navigate to you album (I assumed that you already populated it with your photos. Click the View button next to your album.
- Find the photo you would like to modify the caption for and click Edit Image.
- In the caption box, type the following HTML code for MySpace: <img src=”http://photobucket.com/gili/picture012334455″> Replace the URL http://photobucket.com/gili/picture012334455 with the URL you grabbed in step 1, and don’t forget the quotation marks (All people that contacted me with mistakes to date had their URLs wrong).
- Click Save.
That’s it. Post me a comment (and append the code you are trying to use, otherwise i won’t be able to assist) in case of questions
