I have been to London 3 times, and plan to come back during December (to watch some fine football). London is a vibrant city that offers some great sightseeing as well as world class dining and entertainment.
Here’s a few recommended things you can do while in London:
- Go to a show (or at least watch a movie..) in the Theatre district
- Go to a football match. Some of the finest football teams on earth are based in London (Chelsea FC, Arsenal, Tottenham Spurs and West Ham to name a few), so with some luck, you might be able to find tickets for some interesting matches.
- Hang out, have a beer and watch the people over in Covent Garden.
- Attend a rock concert in Hyde Park.
- Do some shopping over at Camden Lock market and its satellites.
Accommodation is usually quite expensive in London. Finding a reasonable priced hotel within walking distance or with easy accessibility (by tube – London’s underground ) to the theatre district, the Soho and Covent Garden can turn to be quite a difficult task.
