How do I insert a scroll box on my Myspace profile?

Simple CSS code to insert MySpace scroll boxes sections in a MySpace profile.

Question:
Here’s one from Kelly, Michel and other readers: I own a brand new MySpace profile, and was wondering whether there’s an easy process to insert custom scroll boxes for MySpace on my profile web page and if so how should i do it?

Answer:
MySpace scroll boxes are definitely quite easy to implement using CSS code. But where to make scrollboxes? Almost everywhere in your profile: You can have your own scroll box for music, movies, top friends, or whatever you wish or maybe make a picture scroll box. This creates a much nicer look and saves a lot of room in your MySpace profile.

Please go ahead and grab the required CSS codes from the following widget (by clicking the Copy button) and post them in your About Me section:

Alternatively, you can insert a custom scroll box in your MySpace profile manually:

1. Login to myspace.com.
2. Click “Edit Profile.”
3. Insert the HTML and CSS code specified below in the “About Me” section of your MySpace profile.
4. Change the “Your scrolling text Here” to whatever you want in the scroll box.
5. Click save all changes.

Update: Once you have your scroll box in place, you might want to customize it (change its color scheme and so forth). If so, please head towards the scrollbar colors generator and easily pimp your newly created scroll box

dude, so I put in my text and clicked ’save’ but when i look at it on my profile it only shows the picture and no scroll box.

Sara – in the code i posted in the upper box you can see the following:

height:100px;
width:200px;

Increase those numbers, and you’ll have a bigger MySpace scroll box.

ok when i put this scroll box on my page, i put in my support code, and when people go to copy the code off my page it has all of my freinds and comments in that box, but all in words…

airght, well, i tried putting the scroll box on my general or interests section, and i’ve tried putting it in all the other places too, but no matter where i put it, or what website i get the scroll box off of, when ever i scroll down to see if it got all my info, my words always turn into a big black blur. everytime. even if i scroll very slowly, it doesnt matter, it ALWAYS does it. n i’ve tried like a million different scroll boxes. but every one does it.
