		<description>You don&#039;t need a proxy at all.  Here&#039;s what I do: when typing the address in the address bar type it as &quot;https://www.facebook.com/&quot; instead of &quot;http://www.facebook.com/&quot; ... http and https are schematically identical, but most blocking systems at schools or workplaces pnly block the http version of the url.  The only con to this method is that each time a different url is used (i.e. page reloads after logging in) it will automatically use the http url.  You have to copy the url and paste it into the address bar and add the s to make it https each time.  It can get tedious, but it works.</description>

It is working on https so it is much harder to block.

Regarding the list of proxies mentioned earlier in the comments,  this might be a problem because they mostly work on non standard ports which are usually blocked.
