Question:
How to create and how to delete an Orkut community?
Answer:
In any social networking site, community helps to spread own messages and make a tie among like-minded members. Here, in Orkut, as a member you are eligible to create your own community. But before creating your own community, it is always recommended that you make a search to check whether there is an existing community on that. If you are satisfied with the search result and feel that yours are unique, you may proceed creating your own community, and for that please follow these steps:
- Login to your Orkut account.
- Click on the communities link you will get on the top.
- Now click on the create button you will see at the bottom of the community category list available in the right side of the page.
- Now enter the text as shown in the image and click on the confirm button to confirm it. This assures the system that the registration process is not automated, but it is done manually.
- Now you will be taken in a form where you need to fill up required details for your community and then you need to press the create community button.
You may also delete the community you have created. Please follow these steps:
- Click on the communities at the top of the page.
- Click on owned tab.
- Now select the community you wish to delete.
- Now click on the edit profile link available in the left sidebar.
- Now click on the delete profile link available in the left sidebar.
- Click on the delete button to confirm your decision.
