CSS Code to hide the Blurbs heading bar on MySpace
Question:
I am currently customizing my own Myspace profile and would like to hide the orange bars on Myspace. More specifically i am interested in hiding the Blurbs bar as well as the Friends bar of my MySpace profile web page. Is it possible, and if so, can you post the codes in your blog?
Answer:
Yes. Go ahead and grab the following CSS code from the widget below (by clicking the Copy button) and post it into your About Me box:
Alternatively, implement the code manually:
- Copy the following CSS code:

- Login to your MySpace profile and click the Edit Profile link.
- Paste the code you just grabbed and paste it in the About Me section.
- Click Preview Profile to check your profile, and notice that the orange bars are now gone.
- If satisfied, click Save all changes.

you guys were pretty close on but no cigar the code is actually:
.Hide Orange Bars

.friendsComments td table, .friendsComments td.text table, .friendSpace table, .blurbs, .blurbs td.text {background-color:transparent; border:transparent;}
the change is the border, you see your code leaves a black outline box which someone is going to need another to remove that also

When you hide the orange bar it leaves a white space. What is the code to hide the orange bar AND the extra white space it leaves behind?
