Code to easily hide your profile pic on MySpace

Question:

Here’s a question from Eduardo – I am revamping my MySpace layout web page and would like to hide my profile photo on MySpace. Can you share the required HTML code i need to implement to remove my picture from my MySpace profile?

Answer:

Thanks for asking. Removing your default profile picture on MySpace is quite simple.
All you’ll need to do is to grab the code i made available for you from the widget box below (do that by hitting the Copy button) and follow the instructions:

Alternatively, you can implement the code manually. Go ahead an follow this procedure:

  • Login to MySpace.com
  • Hit Edit Profile (or just Profile – if you are using the new Control Panel)
  • Copy the following CSS code and paste it in the About Me section of your MySpace web page (code has been tested on both Internet Explorer and Firefox): 
    <style>

/* hide profile picture on MySpace */
.profileInfo{display:none;}
</style>

    Note that this code will hide the entire section above your MySpace contact table, that is: your personal details such as age, city , country as well as your last login date.

  • Hit Save All Changes.

    That’s it – you have just hidden your profile photo on MySpace.

    The code hid my default picture but it also hid my profile name. Can you make a code that will hide my picture but keep my name?
