How to remove the MySpace contact table?

Here’s one from Dorothy: I am currently working on my MySpace web page. I would like to remove the “contact table” (In my case its title is “Contacting Dorothy”). The reason for it is that i want to open up my profile, and don’t restrict it only to my friends, but i don’t feel like receiving trillions of messages, IMs etc’.

Thanks for the question. Here’s the process you’ll need to implement in order to remove your MySpace contact table

• Login to MySpace.com
• Click Edit Profile
• Paste the following code in the About Me section of your MySpace profile:

  <style>
  /* remove MySpace contact table */
  .contactTable { display: none }
  </style>

  I tested this code on the two browsers i run on my computer: Internet Explorer and Firefox.

• Click Save All Changes

That’s it, you have just removed your contact table. Now it’s time to look for a custom MySpace contact table.
