Modify your MySpace account email address

Maria asks: I was just wondering. I saw your reply to how to change your contact email address to your MySpace but I want to change the email address linked to my myspace account. Every time I go to the contact address and try to delete it it won’t let me do anything in the box. Do you know what I can do or how I can make it to where people cannot find me by my old email address? Thanks.

Thanks for your question, Maria. After logging to MySpace you’ll notice a My Account link in the upper right side. After clicking it you’ll land in the Contact Info page, in which i assume you tried to change your email address. The email address box you tried to modify is actually read only and displays your email address as specified in the Account tab. If you want to change your MySpace email address you should do it in the Account tab. After specifying a new email address you’ll be sent a confirmation email with a code you’ll need to input in order to get your account email address modified.
A simpler option that you might want to consider is to add a new email address to your Contact Info tab. People will be able to find your profile when searching for that email address, so this might be what you are looking for.

I have submitted the request to change and it said i would recieve a confrmation code but i did not. I tried to get one four or five times still nothing any suggestions?
