Switching back to MySpace 1.0
Question:
Dario asks: What’s up? I own a 2.0 MySpace profile, and i am not too satisfied. Can i switch to my older MySpace 1.0 layout?
Answer:
Thanks for your question, Dario. MySpace still allows you to go back to your old MySpace version. This is how you switch to MySpace 1.0 (although personally speaking i prefer MySpace 2.0 as it is more flexible and requires less CSS codes to mod):
1. Log into your MySpace account
2. You will find a link called “Profile” at the top of your profile page and then click “Customize Profile”.
3. In version 2.0 you would see the customize profile link on the top left part of the page. You would also find the “Go back” link on the top right part of your profile page.
4. Click on the link called “Go Back” and choose the option “Switch to Profile 1.0″
5. Click on the confirm link and voi’la, you are on MySpace 1.0.

This does not work at all.
Ive tried it 5 different times now.
Your not the only site that says to do this,
but if you all say to do it then i dont understand
why it will not work.

i want the 1.0 myspace .
the 2.0 is too difficult to use .

when i tried these steps it did not do nothing i want my old profile back i think tom should send everyone a notice of his thoughts of changes before changing something i liked the old myspace 1.0 better than 2.0 its more difficult to handle with please change my profile back now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am not satisfied with it now
My question is…Why do popular sites keep INSISTING that its members go with changes that we don’t even LIKE? I didn’t ask for 2.0, but it looks like I’m STUCK if I wanna make a new profile.
I’ve tried clicking on “Start from scratch” like Myspace tells us we can do, but it WILL NOT WORK! All it does is make the “2.0″ Box pop right back up, asking us if we wanna use it. 1.0 seems to be impossible to get back.
