Here’s a question from one of our readers:
I was recently reading a tech blog and found that there was an option to talk using AIM Chat on Google Talk. Can you tell me how to make use of this on Google Plus’s chat function?
Thanks for the question. If you use the same Google account for Google Talk, Gmail and Google Plus there’s no difference at all. Simply follow the instructions to add the AIM contact to Google Talk and the same will be reflected on Google Plus.
Importing your contacts on AIM to Google Talk/Plus Chat is pretty simple, all you need to do is enter their email address in the search bar of GTalk on Gmail and choose ‘Invite to chat’ in the bubble that appears to the right. Same applies when you are using Google Talk Desktop or any other 3rd Party chat client.
After adding your buddies, chances are that you are looking to block someone on Google+ chat. If so, read this.
