Good news for David Beckham’s admirers all around the world. Last Thursday, the 32 years old English midfielder scored his first goal for the LA Galaxy (his new american team) against Washington DC. Beckham scored a classic free kick, and proved that although last year wasn’t his best in career, his skill is intact. I am sure we will see more from him in this season.

Steve McLaren, England National Soccer Team coach, will be pleased to see that David is in good shape.

Watch this astonishing goal that Leo Messi, Barcelona FC Argentinian forward, scored this week in Barca’s game against Getafe. The comparison to the famous Diego Maradona’s goal from 1986 is inevitable. In my opinion, these two are the best goals ever scored. I would say that Messi showed a higher skill , but Maradona’s goal, scored in the Mexico World Cup, was far more decisive as it contributed to Argentina’s winning of the World Cup.

Yesterday, in one of its finest performances ever, Manchester United thrashed AS Rome 7-1 at Old Trafford (Manchester’s home) and reached the European Champions League semi finals for the first time since 2002.

From all goals scored in that incredible game, the one below is the one i like the most. It was scored by Michael Carrick from the United.

Being a soccer fan, i often search YouTube.com, for great goals. I even set up Soccer Goals, a brand new web site, built on the Blogger platform, in which i will be posting the best Soccer videos i find in the web.

This is one of the best goals i have ever seen. Scorer is Matuzalem, a brazilian who plays for Ukranian club Shakhtar Donetsk, against Sevilla from Spain.
